ATASCADERO COLONY DAYS

Our community's celebration for all

Our Annual Community Celebration, Atascadero Colony Days will take place with Atascadero Fall Fest
on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026 from 10 am to 10 pm.
The parade will start at 10 a.m. and kick off behind the Administration Building on Lewis Avenue. Then head across the Arch Bridge and continue forward as Lewis Ave becomes Capistrano Ave,
moving toward CA-41. After reaching CA-41, the parade will turn Northwest onto El Camino Real.
The parade will then make a right onto Entrada or West Mall,
and end near Lewis Ave.
The Fall Festival will start immediately continue after the parade and
until 10:00 pm. There will be a variety of vendors, entertainment
and food in and around the Sunken Gardens.
Applications for the parade are open and it is free to participate!
Deadline is Friday, October 2, 2026.

It will be a weekend for the community to gather safely
with friends and family and celebrate!

Colony Days began in 1973, as a celebration of the community of Atascadero. Since then, it has held a parade each year since 1974.

Get Involved with Atascadero Colony Days

Volunteers are the heart of Atascadero Colony Days, as the event is put on by volunteers. The more hands we have, the lighter the work. While we have volunteers that work year-round to organize the event, we also need many volunteers the weekend of the event and the week before, as well as to plan and execute different tasks throughout the year.
